Robotime DIY Crafting Club Meetup - Blossom & Bubbles in Mississauga

At Robotime's "Blossom & Bubbles" meetup inside a LUSH store in Mississauga, people sat down with wooden flower kits and left with something they didn't expect — new faces they recognized, a finished build they made with their own hands, and an afternoon that felt nothing like a Saturday mall trip.

Robotime Blossom & Bubbles Meetup

Spring has a special way of inspiring creativity. As flowers bloom and the days grow warmer, it becomes the perfect season to slow down, reconnect, and make something beautiful with your hands.

That spirit came to life beautifully at the latest Robotime DIY Crafting Club Meetup in Canada - an event that turned a simple weekend gathering into a memorable celebration of crafting, friendship, and shared joy.

Hosted by community ambassador Orangesareus, the meetup brought together DIY enthusiasts for a floral-inspired workshop filled with miniature builds, handmade creativity, and meaningful connection.

A Spring Meetup Designed for Creativity

Blossom & Bubbles Meetup

The idea behind “Blossom & Bubbles” was simple but meaningful - create a cozy space where people could gather, relax, and build together.

The event was announced as a floral-themed creative workshop happening on April 12, 2026, at 10 AM, hosted at LUSH in Square One Mall, Mississauga. Participants were invited to spend the morning building floral-themed Robotime kits while also enjoying a special handmade activity provided by LUSH during the workshop. The goal was not just to complete a project, but to celebrate spring through creativity and connection.

This blend of miniature building and hands-on crafting created something uniquely memorable - a workshop that felt less like an event and more like a peaceful creative retreat.

Every kit was carefully chosen to match the “Blossom & Bubbles” theme - bringing together blooming bouquets, glowing floral wall art, and miniature flower shops that made the entire workshop feel like a creative spring garden. Here are the featured kits:

Workshop Highlights

Beyond the beautiful builds and floral-themed kits, what truly made the “Blossom & Bubbles” meetup special were the memorable moments shared throughout the day.

Tyler finished his entire build within the two-hour workshop window, an impressive achievement that definitely deserved a round of applause. Everyone joined in the trivia session and walked away with prizes, proving that a little friendly competition makes crafting even more fun.

The LUSH staff was incredibly supportive throughout the event - calm, helpful during cleanup, and genuinely wonderful to work with from start to finish. Several shoppers actually walked into the store during the workshop, got curious, and signed up to join the Robotime community on the spot - a reminder of how naturally creativity attracts people.

Attendee interviews made one thing clear: everyone had a genuinely wonderful time and left with happy memories, finished builds, and new connections.

However, as with any DIY project, there were a few challenges. Some struggled to handle intricate, small pieces in order to prevent them from breaking. Others struggled to learn how to read instructions at the beginning.

What DIY Creators Said

One of the best parts of every Robotime meetup is hearing directly from the makers themselves. From first-time builders to returning crafters, attendees shared what made the experience so memorable.

Many participants praised the beautiful seasonal designs, especially the floral details that perfectly matched the spring theme.

Some favorite comments included:

  • “Very detailed and so in season with all the spring flowers.”
  • “The design is awesome!”
  • “It’s beautifully designed.”
  • “Really cute and fun.”
  • “How cute it is! Can’t wait to put it with my other set.”

Others appreciated how helpful the building experience felt:

  • “The tools are helpful with putting everything together, especially the smaller, challenging parts.”
  • “Instructions are good, diagrams are good.”

Looking Forward to the Next Meetup

As the Robotime community continues expanding across Canada, one thing is clear: Mississauga has become a meaningful hub for creative connection. It was another chapter in a growing story - one where creativity brings people together, and DIY becomes a shared language.

For anyone who has ever wanted to try building a Rolife miniature house, assemble a ROKR wooden puzzle, or simply meet others who love making things by hand, these meetups offer the perfect place to start.

Because sometimes, the best way to build something beautiful is together.
