Before You Troubleshoot
- Disconnect power before reseating plugs, adjusting nuts, or checking the hitting-arm mechanism.
- Use a stable 5 V / 2 A power supply during diagnosis.
- Push connectors in firmly by their housings. Inspect wires for damage without pulling hard on them.
- Test infrared scoring sensors away from bright light; a dark room or a dark cover helps isolate light interference.
Parts Reference
Use these references to confirm the supplied parts and their positions in the box before requesting a replacement.
Sensor and Scoring Problems
Why Does the Top Ball Sensor Add Scores by Itself?
Use a black pencil to darken the inner wall of the P32 sensor hole.
Power, Sound, and Lighting Problems
Why Does the Pinball Machine Have No Reaction?
① Make sure the machine is connected to the power supply.
② Check whether the wire is broken. If it is, request a replacement P25.
Why Is There No Speaker Sound or Switch Response?
① Check whether all wire connections are firmly plugged in.
If the center-control interface is damaged and replacing the loudspeaker does not solve the problem, request replacements for the P36 loudspeaker and P39 center control.
Why Do Score Sounds Work but Background Music Does Not?
Check whether the background-music switch is on. If the switch does not respond, request a replacement P26 switch.
Why Are the Lights Not On?
① Check whether the center-control wiring is installed correctly and securely. If it is connected correctly and the light remains off, request the corresponding center control.
② Check whether the rear interface is firmly inserted. If the light remains off, request a replacement light strip.
Why Do the Lights Keep Flashing, the Sensor Add Scores, or the Machine Restart?
This section also applies when only one light is on.
① Check whether the power supply is 5 V / 2 A. Do not use an adapter that does not meet this requirement; long-term use may damage the electronic components.
② Check whether the machine is being used in bright light. Test it in the dark or cover it with a black cloth.
③ Check whether the wires are firmly plugged in, the track is assembled correctly, and the track rubs against the infrared monitor.
④ Check whether the P25DC wire has poor contact. Pull it gently by hand to see whether it breaks. If the problem is with the wire, request a replacement P25DC.
Striker and Hitting Arm Problems
Why Is an Electromagnetic Striker Not Responding?
① Check whether nut P42 is loose and whether the wires are connected correctly.
② Check whether the product responds when it is turned on. If there is no response, request a replacement center control.
If there is a response, remove the white wire and touch it to the other wires. If there is no response, request replacements for the P39 center control and the electromagnet. If there is a sound effect but the ball does not bounce down, request a replacement electromagnet.
Why Are the Left or Right Hitting Arms Stiff or Unresponsive?
① Press the left and right hitting arms repeatedly so the moving parts can wear in with each other.
② Check whether screw P49 is too tight. Loosen it slightly for testing.
③ Check whether P49 is assembled correctly. P49 should pass through the hole in P15.
④ Check whether J2 is pressed firmly into place. If it is not, the front will lift and become stuck.
⑤ Check whether screw P5 is too tight. Loosen it slightly for testing.
⑥ Check whether P15 is fully waxed and lubricated, and whether the steel shaft and shaft sleeve are assembled correctly. Do not press them too tightly.
