FAQ
What is included in a Rolife DIY miniature house kit?
Usually, a Rolife kit includes pre-cut wooden sheets, several bags of sorted mini furniture and decor pieces, LED lights and wires (if the design has lighting), colorful stickers, a detailed illustrated manual, and some small tools like tweezers or nail clippers (varies by kit). Please note, due to international shipping regulations, glue and wax are not included in the kit, and you will need to get them yourself.
How difficult are the DIY miniature house kits to build?
Each Rolife DIY miniature kit clearly shows its difficulty level based on assembly time. You can find this information on our product pages. For more details about Rolife DIY kit difficulty levels, see this page.
How long does it take to complete a DIY miniature house kit?
The time it takes to finish a DIY miniature house kit varies by the kit and your experience. For our DW series, it usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. For the DG series, you may need at least 5 hours. Some complex kits can take 10 hours or even a full day. You can check the estimated assembly time on each product page.
Are the kits suitable for beginners?
Each kit shows its difficulty level and estimated assembly time so you can pick one that fits your skill level. If you are a beginner, some of our kits like the DG series might feel a bit challenging. But don't worry. Every kit comes with clear step-by-step instructions, so you can finish it by following the guide.
What age group is suitable for these kits?
Most kits are recommended for ages 14 and up because they have small parts and detailed steps. Younger kids(ages 8+) can build them too, but we suggest doing it with help from an adult.
Are the materials safe and durable?
Yes, all Rolife kits use high-quality, non-toxic wood and other safe materials. After you finish building, keep them in a cool, dry place and they will last a long time.
Can I display the finished miniature house?
Yes, Rolife kits are beautifully designed and you can display them anywhere you like after building. To help them last longer, keep them in a cool, dry place. You can also use our dust cover if needed.
