Before You Troubleshoot
- Confirm that the SKU on the box or manual is LKA02.
- Disconnect the 5V Type-C power cable before adjusting switches, gears, the track, or the robotic arm.
- Do not force a part that binds. Compare its position with the manual and the diagrams below.
- Test the mechanism after each adjustment so you can identify which change restores normal operation.

Common Assembly Problems
Why Is the P15 Switch Wire Not Long Enough?
Cause: The red and yellow switches may be installed in the wrong positions.
Solution: Install the red switch on the side of P15 and the yellow switch at the top. Check both positions before continuing with the surrounding assembly.
Track and Robotic-Arm Problems
Why Won’t the Track Reset or the Robotic Arm Return?
Cause: Part C14 may be missing or positioned so it cannot press the switch in front of the track during reset.
Solution: Install C14 first, then retest the reset. Confirm that C14 presses the front track switch when the track returns; pressing this switch sends the reset command to the robotic arm.
Why Does the Track Extend, Retreat Slightly, and Then Stop Responding?
Cause: Part F10 may not press the switch in front of the track when the track reaches maximum extension.
Solution: Lift F10 gently so it can press the front track switch at maximum extension, then test the start switch again.
Lighting Problems
Why Doesn’t the Light Board Illuminate or the Bulbs Flash?
Possible causes: The original H40 may need replacement, or the copper strip on switch T2 may not be making reliable contact.
Solution: Use the spare H40 on Board K to replace the original H40. If needed, bend the copper strip on switch T2 slightly so the switch can be pressed reliably, then test the lighting again.
