The very first Robotime Fan Meetup in the Philippines began with a simple, friendly interaction inside our Robotime community. Jill, a Community Star and a skilled DIY crafter, organized a Philippine meetup on November 22nd to bring DIY enthusiasts together to build kits.
The spontaneous idea grew into something truly special. With shared enthusiasm and community support, the meetup was held, proving how powerful creativity can be when like-minded individuals come together.
How the Meetup Came to Life
Jill successfully held the DIY and crafting club meetup with fellow Robotime Fans and documented the entire preparation journey - from assembling materials, coordination, cooperation, to setting up an inspiring crafting space.
Her post gave a behind-the-scenes look at how deeply the Robotime spirit resonates with craftsmanship and connection.
What Happened at the Event
The meetup was a joyful gathering, with fans sharing love for DIY and crafting over drinks. There was high-end energy with light and fun. The participants gathered to build the Sakura Bonsai, share their stories, exchange tips, and enjoy a few hours together.

According to Jill, the atmosphere was warm, collaborative, and joyful.
“Everyone was so serious with their work, and it was wonderful seeing the kits come to life while we laughed, swapped stories, and helped each other along the way.”

Participants’ Creations and Expressions
Jill expressed thanks to other participants who joined and made the meetup possible and unforgettable.
The participants shared their personal expressions after the event, highlighting their own experience building the Sakura Bonsai kit. Let’s hear from some of them.
Lainey, a DIY builder and a Robotime fan, was one of the participants who attended the meetup. She relates:
“So I wasn’t able to finish this piece during the meetup and opted to get it done at home. When i was finally done, I let out a small shout of triumph. My youngest, ever the sweetest, suddenly said, “wow mommy, that is soooo awesome! I’m so proud of you! I’ll give you 1000 kisses!”

She mentioned that the best way to cap off her day was by completing the kit. No doubt, this was an inspiration to take up more DIY projects.
Gidge, an advanced DIY crafter, was also part of the club. This was his first-ever fan meetup. He wasn’t sure if he should attend, but he went away, and he didn’t regret it. To him, the meetup turned out to be so much fun. He relates:
“Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and it was inspiring to see other people passionate about building and crafting. I’m grateful to have experienced this first meetup with the community.”
