Quick answer: This guide covers the official EAB02 checks for part B7, X3 tightness, coffee-spout timing, the P24 conveyor belt, the H35 bushings, part F7, and sluggish or jammed movement. Before You Troubleshoot
- Disconnect the Type-C power cable before adjusting gears, bushings, or moving parts.
- Do not force a part that binds. Compare its direction and starting position with the manual and the diagrams below.
- Test the mechanism gently after each adjustment so you can identify which change restores smooth movement.
Parts Reference
Where Is Part B7 on the Parts Board?
Use the reference below to locate Part B7 on the parts board.
Common Assembly Problems
Why Won’t the Mechanism Rotate Freely After Tightening X3?
Cause: X3 is tightened too firmly, creating resistance in the rotating assembly.
Solution: Loosen X3 slightly, then turn the connected parts by hand to confirm they rotate smoothly. Keep X3 secure without clamping the moving parts.
Mechanical and Movement Problems
Why Are the Coffee Spout and Cup Out of Sync?
Cause: The mark on gear H3 is not aligned with the mark on the side circular-plate gear.
Solution: Reposition the gears so the two timing marks align exactly, then test the movement again.
Why Won’t the P24 Conveyor Belt Rotate Normally?
Check: Confirm that part H17 is installed in the direction and position shown below.
Solution: Reinstall H17 to match the diagram, then check that P24 can move without binding before powering the model.
Why Won’t the Coffee Spout Move Up or Down?
Possible causes: One or both H35 parts are reversed, or the bushing is pressed too tightly against the moving assembly.
Solution: First confirm that both H35 parts face the direction shown in the diagram. If their direction is correct, loosen the bushing slightly and retest the spout.
Why Does Part F7 Move Only a Short Distance or Not at All?
Cause: The lower gear is not in the correct initial position.
Solution: Reset the lower gear so its starting position matches the diagram exactly, then test F7 through its full movement.
Why Does the Mechanism Run Sluggishly or Jam During Testing?
Work through these checks one at a time:
- Apply the supplied wax repeatedly to the gear contact surfaces shown in the manual. The gear assemblies need lubrication to move smoothly.
- Check every bushing near a rotating part. If a bushing is pressed too tightly, ease it back slightly.
- Compare the lower gear assembly with the diagram and correct any misplaced or reversed parts.
- Confirm that X2 is not installed backward. A reversed X2 can make the mechanism jam and stop.
- If the binding point is still unclear, remove the belt and rotate X8 by hand. This separates the upper and lower mechanisms so you can identify which section is blocked.
