Before You Troubleshoot

  • Confirm that the SKU on the box or manual is LGA01.
  • Use only the instructions for LGA01, not a manual for another ROKR marble run.
  • Stop turning the handle as soon as a ball or moving part becomes stuck.
  • Check and adjust one position at a time, then test the mechanism slowly by hand.
  • Take a clear photo before removing an assembled section so you can restore its original position.

Common Assembly Problems

Why Are Parts B2 and B3 Loose?

If B2 and B3 remain loose after insertion, confirm their position before securing them.

Check: Confirm that both parts are facing the correct direction and are fully seated.

Solution: After confirming the fit, apply a small amount of suitable model glue to secure the joint. Keep adhesive away from tracks, gears, axles, and other moving areas.

Which Direction Should Parts J and K Face?

Reversed acrylic surfaces on Parts J or K can interrupt the ball path and cause jamming.

Check: Compare the acrylic surfaces of Parts J and K with the reference image.

Solution: Reposition any reversed part before continuing.

How Do You Use Parts G9 and G17?

G9 and G17 are auxiliary tools used while pressing parts together. Position them as shown so the assembly pressure does not crush the wooden board.

Why Won't Part G13 Fit?

G13 may not fit when B8 or B9 is not fully seated.

Check: Inspect B8 and B9 before pressing G13.

Solution: Seat B8 and B9 fully, then try G13 again. Do not force G13 into a blocked opening.

What If a Part on Board i, i1, or i2 Is Broken or Uncut?

A broken part on Board i1 or i2 needs to be replaced. A part on Board i that was not cut also needs to be replaced. Do not bend, tear, or force these parts out, as this may damage the surrounding sheet.

Ball-Jamming and Movement Problems

Why Do the Steel Balls Fall When You Turn the Handle?

Cause: F1 is missing or not installed correctly, so it cannot block and guide the balls.

Solution: Install F1 in the marked position. If F1 is missing or broken, request a replacement.

Why Is the Ball Stuck Before Entering the Acrylic Wheel?

The ball may stop before the acrylic wheel when the A29, B34, and B39 assembly is not fully seated.

Check: Confirm that A29 is fitted onto both B34 and B39, then check that the complete assembly is fully inserted into the base.

Solution: Press both sides into place evenly and patiently. Avoid forcing one side ahead of the other.

Why Does the Ball Fall Out at the Acrylic Disc?

Cause: B5 is not fully inserted, leaving a gap at the acrylic disc.

Solution: Press B5 fully into place, then test the disc slowly before rebuilding the surrounding section.

Why Is the Ball Stuck Inside the Diverter?

Cause: The bushings were pressed too tightly, restricting the ball inside the diversion device.

Solution: Adjust the bushings at both ends so they sit flush with the steel shaft. Test the movement before continuing.

Why Do the Balls Travel in Only One Direction?

Possible causes: B23 is not pressed fully into place, or it was reversed when Part q was installed on the base.

Solution: Correct the depth or direction of B23, then test the diverter slowly by hand.

Why Is the Ball Stuck at the Curved Track?

The ball may stop at the curved track when the board is deformed or nearby parts are squeezing the track.

Check: Inspect the board for visible deformation and check the surrounding parts for pressure on the track.

Solution: Release any surrounding pressure and test the track again. If the board itself is visibly warped and the ball still cannot pass, request a replacement instead of forcing the ball through.
