The Encounter Cafe | When I saw the male god I liked, I was so nervous that I poured coffee on
If you work in a coffee shop, you may encounter all kinds of customers every day. They may behave strangely or even make people laugh, but they can make your life full of stories.
Cafe that even offers massage services? A woman who is used to buying cigarettes in a cafe and a man who likes to mock other customers fall in love with each other?
Did you meet the person you fell in love with at first sight? Sneak at him every day?
These seemingly unbelievable plots actually happened in the movie "Amelie".
In our encounter story of "Meet the Cafe", the heroine Angel, like Emily in "Amelie", works in a charming cafe. As a pastry chef, she works according to the needs of different customers every day. Like, make a variety of delicious and tempting desserts.
In order to shape the image of Angel's pastry chef, designer Cen was very particular about details and made a lot of adjustments. On the table of the cafe, in addition to a cup of coffee, it is also matched with a plate of desserts with good color and taste, which adds a lot of real picture to the cafe.
Cen is used to order a cup of coffee outside the busy urban life, sit where she usually sits, and watch the people coming and going. This is her most comfortable state. One afternoon, she witnessed the embrace of a long-distance couple, and a thought suddenly occurred in her mind: "It would be great if we had a romantic encounter in a cafe! Long-distance love? Frequent back and forth? It's just a pilot. Okay!" So, Teddy, the hero in "Meet the Cafe", also came from here.
Teddy in the story came to the city where Angel was on August 14, walked into the cafe by accident, and ordered a cappuccino. During the ordering and delivery process, Teddy was attracted to the beautiful Angel and fell in love at first sight.
The place where a romantic love story takes place is bound to be dreamy and fascinated. Cen adds a lot of sparkling romance to the cafe. The eaves of the cafe are covered with white cotton wool and many sparkling stars and sequins are hung, as if being in a beautiful fairyland. Such a dreamy hut, Teddy couldn't help but stop when he passed by, walked into the cafe to have a look, and met Angel at first sight. The mysterious decor creates the perfect atmosphere for Teddy and Angel's romantic encounter.
Later, on the 14th of every month, Teddy would fly to Angel's city, come to Angel's coffee shop, order the same cup of coffee, sit silently on the side, and be content with seeing Angel. Angel also noticed Teddy who came to the cafe on the same day every month, and gradually became familiar with Teddy's ordering preferences. On the 14th of every month, Angel would stand at the checkout counter waiting for Teddy to arrive.
The cash register where Angel was standing and waiting concealed her unknown feelings. Cen set the color of the cashier as pink, which is a love pink, a shy crimson, and exudes a sweet taste.
Perhaps, even God was moved by Teddy's sincerity. This time, Angel's cappuccino was not delivered to Teddy, but it became the catalyst for the development of their story. Angel accidentally knocked over Teddy's coffee, giving the two a chance to get into each other's relationship. Eye to eye, full of smile, that is the beginning of romance.
The sweet objects that can be seen everywhere in the cafe give the whole art house a warm and sweet atmosphere. The vinyl record player beside the table wafted out a melodious song. Those loving melodies, listening and listening, smiles crawling up the corners of Teddy and Angel's mouths unknowingly, these are the designers' careful thoughts.
Teddy often sits by the window, and there are many small plants on the window sill, thriving under Angel's daily care. From designer Cen's point of view: "How can such a beautiful pastry chef with taste and love of life not attract Teddy's attention? The more you get in touch, the more you should feel the charm of Angel."
Cafe, a leisurely and comfortable environment, full of rich coffee aroma, people are used to take off their guards here and observe the people coming and going. In the cafe, different people pass by every day, some walking in groups, while others pondering alone. Perhaps only in such a slightly noisy environment can those lonely people appear less lonely, wanting someone to accompany but not being disturbed. It's easier to open up and accept another person while you relax your guard.
The cafe is like an observable micro life. When you walk outside, you are easily attracted by the mellow coffee inside, but when you walk in, you taste the bitterness of coffee. It is less lazy than a bedroom, more free than a company, and more human than a library. In such a public space, everyone is connected because of coffee, but they are independent individuals. You can observe the way people live and communicate in various forms of society, but you don't have to force yourself to integrate into it. This is probably why the urban crowd is keen on cafes.
Designer Cen thinks that cafes are born for encounters, not only for coffee lovers, but also for two souls. In life, you will meet different people in different places. Every time you pass by, it may make your heart throb. When you come back to your senses, that person has already disappeared into the vast sea of people. If you had been braver at the time, maybe your story would have unfolded here.
