Designer's Journey

ROKR takes the excitement of the pinball arcade game and the danger of rampaging dinosaurs to create the story of this model’s gameplay. The T-rex, damaged rooms, warning signs, ramps, targets, lights, and sound effects all work together to make the playfield feel like a laboratory emergency. The chaotic playfield challenges players to aim carefully, react quickly, and keep chasing a higher score. Every round brings a new opportunity to improve your timing, try a different route, and see how far your skills can take you.

Description

Pull the plunger to launch the ball and take on the mission of bringing escaped lab dinosaurs under control in this tabletop pinball machine. Your skill with the left and right flippers sends the ball ricocheting through seven interconnected tracks, bumpers, and six sensor-activated targets, while a real-time display tracks every point. Each move triggers matching lights and sound, from the flashing “broken” Dinosaur Lab sign to the crisp ding of an electroplated copper bell. Turn up the volume or mute it, then play a regular game or raise the stakes with hidden missions with the flick of a switch. Monitor the life meter so you know how long you’ll last in this exciting, fast-paced game you build yourself.
